AU CAMEROUN, L’ARRONDISSEMENT D’EDÉA 1ER REMPORTE LA 3ÈME ÉDITION DU TOURNOI DE LA FRATERNITÉ
En présence de nombreuses légendes du football camerounais dont Samuel Eto’o Fils, actuel président de la Fecafoot et Albert Roger Milla, le vainqueur qui conserve son titre pour la deuxième année consécutive n’a pas tremblé face à l’équipe de Ngwei, lors des tirs aux buts.

Le stade municipal d’Edéa a abrité le 19 août 2023, la finale de la 3e édition du tournoi de la Fraternité. Organisée par la Fondation Main Tendue, dont le promoteur est le ministre des Transports, Jean Ernest Masséna Ngallè Bibéhè la compétition qui a démarré le 16 août 2023, a réuni 11 équipes issues des 11 arrondissements du département de la Sanaga-Maritime. « L’idée est de regrouper dans ce tournoi, les jeunes de divers horizons. Venant de tous les arrondissements de notre département, pour leur permettre d’apprendre à mieux se connaitre, et leur procurer en même temps, une douce émulation sans créer de rivalités », a indiqué le promoteur, Jean Ernest Ngallè Bibéhè, dans son discours de clôture.
L’apothéose de cet événement sportif riche en couleurs a réuni de nombreuses personnalités aussi bien politiques que sportives, dont Samuel Eto’o Fils, président de la Fecafoot ; Albert Roger Milla ; Joseph Antoine Bell, ou encore Rigobert Song, le sélectionneur-manager des Lions Indomptables du Cameroun.
Le tournoi de la Fraternité est l’une des plus importantes compétitions de football organisées pendant les vacances dans la Sanaga-Maritime, région du Littoral. De nombreux trophées ont été décernés aux acteurs méritants après trois jours de compétition dans la cité lumière. Edéa 1er conserve sa couronne pour la deuxième année consécutive. Mongo Cédric a été sacré meilleur joueur, tandis que le meilleur buteur est revenu à Roméo Ndjiki. Gustave Hebeg a été désigné meilleur arbitre du tournoi. Les amoureux du football ont pris rendez-vous pour la prochaine édition.
