Diaspora camerounaise : Le 1er salon business et socio-culturel donne rdv à Paris
Organisé par l’association Mboa Paris, l’événement se tiendra le 20 mai 2023 dans la capitale française. Plus de 2000 Camerounais de la diaspora y sont attendus, parmi lesquels Rebecca Enonchong, Mani Bella et Sergeo Polo.

Paris s’apprête à vibrer le 20 mai prochain aux couleurs du 237 au Beffroi de Montrouge, à l’occasion de la célébration de la fête de l’unité nationale, à l’initiative de l’association Mboa Paris, organisatrice du premier salon business et socio-culturel de la diaspora camerounaise. Cet événement grand public qui a pour objectif de valoriser les initiatives entrepreneuriales, associatives et culturelles portées par les membres de la diaspora camerounaise d’Europe compte attirer pour son inauguration, plus de 2000 participants. Convaincu de ce que «l’arbre ne s’élève qu’en enfonçant ses racines dans la terre nourricière», le salon Mboa Paris entend réunir, valoriser et connecter les différents acteurs et leaders de la diaspora qui font briller le Cameroun à l’international.
En effet, «la diaspora camerounaise est connue à travers le monde pour être une ruche à talents. Malheureusement, malgré les différentes initiatives existantes portées par ses membres, il manque toujours à ce jour un écosystème pérenne qui puisse favoriser les connexions et les échanges entre ces différents acteurs, alors même qu’ils sont un véritable moteur pour le développement du Cameroun», explique Fatimatou Ousmanou, présidente de l’association Mboa Paris. «Réunir et mettre en lumière les visages qui excellent au-delà des frontières, permettrait également de lutter contre le manque de figure de représentation dont souffrent les filles et fils de la diaspora en Europe», a-t-elle ajouté, sans lésiner sur les moyens mis en œuvre.

Plus de 1000m² de stands d’entrepreneurs sont prévus, en plus d’un espace dédié aux associations et aux artistes. Une occasion à coup sûr pour les entrepreneurs de booster leurs ventes, renforcer leur notoriété, nouer de nouveaux contacts et profiter d’une grande couverture médiatique. La journée sera rythmée par des conférences thématiques avec des intervenants de prestige dans les domaines de l’entrepreneuriat, à l’instar de Rebecca Enonchong, Founder and CEO AppsTech ; Phillip Simo, Founder & CEO Investir Au Pays ; Duplex Eric Kamgang, Founder & CEO at STUDELY ; Freddy Chokoté, Co-founder de restaurant Les Tonton Afro ; Isabelle Boireau, Founder Isabelle Boireau Beauty, Jacqueline Ngo Mpii, Founder and CEO Little Africa Paris ; Paola Audrey, Directrice de BoomPlay ; ou encore Fred Ebambi, Pop Art artiste. Le sport n’est pas en reste, tout comme la santé, l’éducation, les médias, les groupements d’entreprises et structures d’accompagnement à l’entrepreneuriat. La boucle de ce premier rendez-vous événementiel sera assurée par un show d’artistes et musiciens camerounais de renom, tels que Sergeo Polo, Mani Bella, Locko et Maahlo. Autant d’ingrédients pour faire de ce 20 mai, une journée mémorable.
