Le maire de la ville de Douala a saisi l’occasion d’une cérémonie le 1er avril 2023 pour faire des heureux au sein des communautés musulmanes venues des chefferies New-Bell Congo, New-Bell Haoussa, Bamoun, Bonaberi, Makèpè Missokè, Bonaloka et New-town aéroport. Du sucre, du riz et de l’huile ont été distribués. Un soulagement à coup sûr pour ces populations qui n’ont pas toujours les moyens suffisants pour vivre au quotidien. Les populations à travers leurs responsables n’ont pas manqué de remercier le maire de la ville pour cet acte de générosité.
